listening to: A Love Like War - All Time Low
reading: Insurgent - Veronica Roth

Yep...after months and months and months of utter school craziness, I've come to visit my blog.
It's covered with cobwebs. Literally.
I am very sorry for not being able to post ANYTHING. Because, well, high school wears me out. The lessons are harder to keep up with, and the programs they have are really diverse and not to mention distracting. Sometimes they get too fun. And sometimes I got carried away.....
*giggles suspiciously*
Anyway, the holidays are heeeeere....and it's PURE BOREDOM. I have nothing, again, NOTHING to do. I've finished Divergent and halfway done with Insurgent, been on a pop-rock-punk band song hunt (I don't know why I'm into that genre. I used to listen to jazz and country...), watching every single NigaHiga video (tee hee!), completing a chemistry A-level assessment, shopping for new sneakers (I rarely shop, mind you), munch on chocolate wafers, dancing randomly to Daniel Kim's Pop Danthologies (I like to dance. PLOT TWIST!), opening my Facebook (yawn), and now I'm running out of ideas!
Back when school wasn't out yet, 'all dem students' (see what I did there? No? Okay....) are chanting: 'LIBUR! LIBUR! PULANG! PULANG!' (translates to 'HOLIDAY! HOLIDAY! GO HOME! GO HOME!'). Especially the dormitory students, who're dying to just go home to their hometowns (some of the students at my school come from outside of Malang, which is where the school is. Some are even from Papua and Sabah). Then came the holidays and all of a sudden...BAM! The smell of boredom is in the air. Holidays are fun, there's no denying it, but when it rains all day and you have nothing to do, these days suck, thus making a double negative (whaaa?).
Any suggestions on what should I do? No sex and nudity, please. And no smoking, or drugs, or moonshine. Or crack and pot. Just keep it PG.

Two days ago, I went out with my Mom to see this movie called: 'Tenggelamnya Kapal van der Wijck'. We didn't get any tickets for the four-o'clock show, so we bought two for the seven-o'clock one. My Mom was so jumpy about seeing the movie; because she read the book before (the movie's based on a book by Buya Hamka with the same title) and she said the movie is going to be just like the book. I had my doubts about it, but after knowing that the movie is going to be 3 hours long, I passed.
And let me tell you, it was the most emotionally tiring movie I've ever seen. The main character, Zainuddin, was an orphan, and he was considered 'tribeless', as he was born mixed-race. He fell in love with Hayati, asked her to marry him, but he can't because he's 'tribeless', then Hayati married an a**hole of a man named Aziz, Zainuddin moved to Java and he became famous as a writer. The story revolved around the love triangle, and by God, it was heart-wrenching. But not enough to make me cry, though. Overall, it was nice. It would be nicer if the actor who played Zainuddin wasn't very hyperbolic-ish.....

I don't know why, but for the past few days, I've been on an All Time Low download spree. I've had 31 songs so far, hehee...
Yeah, I pretty much spend my rainy holiday listening to the aforementioned bands. They complete meh....
I can't get enough of All Time Low. 31 songs is not enough. Maybe because of the fact that Alex and Jack are hilarious and their songs are addicting? Hmm...
